ADVATx® in Phoenix, AZ

ADVATx® in Phoenix, AZ

Skin resurfacing and treatment of vascular abnormalities rejuvenates your appearance. At Arizona Facial Plastics, PC, our board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Farhan Taghizadeh, recommends ADVATx® for men and women who live in and around Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and surrounding communities of Arizona.

What is ADVATx®?

ADVATx® is a laser treatment that uses a unique wavelength of yellow light that is considered the ideal solution for certain skin flaws. The laser energy targets vascular flaws, such as rosacea and broken capillaries, and it also stimulates collagen production for anti-aging benefits.

How Much Does ADVATx® Cost in Phoenix?

ADVATx® treatments are considered “elective” by your medical insurance, so the cost is not covered by your insurance policy. To help our patients afford the cosmetic treatments they want to feel better about their skin, we offer several payment options, including cash, check, major credit cards, and financing through Prosper® Healthcare Lending and CareCredit®.

Benefits of ADVATx®

Dr. Taghizadeh recommends ADVATx® because of the many benefits of the treatment, such as:

  • Correct a variety of skin flaws and signs of aging with a single treatment
  • No downtime required
  • Results after just one session (visible within 24 hours in most cases)
  • Little to no discomfort

What Can I Expect from ADVATx®?

The laser energy from the ADVATx® system is administered in short bursts. You may feel a mild sensation that is similar to snapping a rubber band against your skin. A single treatment session takes about 30 minutes, depending on the size of the area. Your skin has a healthier appearance approximately 24 hours after each session. Some skin conditions, such as scars and acne, require multiple sessions to achieve the optimum results.

How is ADVATx® Different from Other Types of Skin Resurfacing?

ADVATx® is the first cosmetic laser system that uses a combination of laser energies that corrects vascular flaws and rejuvenates the skin. Similar laser treatments produce moderate symptoms, such as swelling, that require patients to receive two distinctive treatments during separate appointments.

Recovery from ADVATx®

There is no downtime after your ADVATx® treatment. Your skin may have a slightly red appearance for the first few hours. You should avoid direct sunlight for the first 24 hours. Dr. Taghizadeh recommends that his patients use a high-quality sunscreen that is at least 30 SPF.

What Will ADVATx® Do for My Skin?

ADVATx® is designed to treat a range of skin conditions, such as:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Rosacea
  • Acne
  • Certain types of scars
  • Angiomas
  • Melasma
  • Stretch marks
  • Acne vulgaris
  • Poikiloderma of Civatte
  • Facial telangiectasias
  • Venous lake

Will Everyone Benefit from ADVATx®?

Dr. Taghizadeh recommends ADVATx® for most of his patients. The treatment is approved by the FDA, safe for most skin types, and effective for skin of all ages.
