What is a PDO Thread Lift?

A PDO Thread Lift is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation procedure that smooths away fine lines and wrinkles, and tightens lax skin by gently lifting your natural facial features. The threads used in the PDO Thread Lift are made of a special biodegradable material called Polydioxanone. These threads not only support lax structures within your treated areas, but they also stimulate your body’s natural production of collagen for a youthful-looking lift that keeps improving over time. Many of our patients turn to a PDO Thread Lift to mimic the results of a facelift without the cutting, anesthesia, and lengthy recovery period typically associated with the traditional plastic surgery procedure.

How Much Does a PDO Thread Lift Cost in Phoenix?

PDO Thread Lifts will likely be considered elective by your medical insurance carrier. We will review the cost of the treatment after your consultation. Payment can be made by cash, check or major credit card. We also accept CareCredit® as financing options for our medical spa services.

Benefits of a PDO Thread Lift

Arizona Facial Plastics’, PC, is proud to offer PDO Thread Lift treatments to men and women in the Phoenix area because the treatment provides several unique benefits, such as:

  • Smooths away fine lines and moderate wrinkles
  • Tightens lax skin
  • Lifts the underlying structures of the treated areas
  • Can be used to lift the brows, mid-face, and neck
  • Creates an overall more youthful appearance

What Can I Expect from my PDO Thread Lift?

Your PDO Thread Lift will be performed by our expert medical team members in our beautiful office. Before your PDO Thread Lift begins, a local anesthetic may be administered to your treatment area. This is just to ensure you remain as comfortable as possible throughout your treatment. Once numb, the PDO threads will carefully and strategically be inserted into your desired treatment area via a thin, hollow needle called a cannula. The entire treatment session typically takes about an hour to complete.

Meet Our Experts

Dr. Farhan Taghizadeh,

We pride ourselves on offering the latest cosmetic technologies and procedures. I am constantly in contact with some of the biggest aesthetic companies in the country to find out what new devices are coming out so that we can help you look your best. I have extensive cosmetic surgery training, and I have performed over 3,500 facelifts. My goal is to meet you where you are – whether you are noticing sun damage or are tired of looking 15 years older than you feel-together we can find a way to bring that spark back to your life!I completed my ENT training at the University of Rochester in 2004. To further deepen my understanding of the face, I did a facial plastic surgery fellowship in Switzerland (where I also developed a love of chocolate!). These experiences gave me an in-depth understanding of head and neck structures, an understanding that I use and refine every day to help you achieve the outcome you seek.

Real Patient Testimonials

Melissa is SO amazing! I have been seeing her for years! She has sculpted my face to become symmetrical, and helping me reach the best version of myself. Not only has she given me confidence and motivation, she has shared her knowledge and experience to ensure it was the right route for myself. I could go on and on about how great she is, but even the entire staff is great. Not to mention their technology that shows your progress and what is recommended for your skin. It’s one of my favorite things to show my friends of progress. I have had services from lip filler, jawline filler, cheek filler, under eye filler, botox and miraculift (pdo threads). This has gently added volume and structure of my mom of 2 face❤️

How Does the PDO Thread Lift Differ From Other Types of Skin Rejuvenation?

PDO Thread Lift treatments are typically recommended for patients who wish to tighten their lax skin and rejuvenate their facial features, but also wish to avoid invasive plastic surgery. The primary benefit of the treatment, when compared to other types of skin rejuvenation, is that the PDO threads used in the Thread Lift mimic the results of a facelift while improving the body’s natural production of collagen. This ensures your results will be long-lasting and will keep improving with time.
