BellaFill® in Phoenix, AZ
What is BellaFill®?
BellaFill® is a dermal filler that stimulates collagen production to soften smile lines, as well as reduce acne scars. Collagen is one of the most valuable proteins in the human body, and it gives the skin structure and resilience. As we age, our bodies lose more collagen than what is produced naturally, and this is how we develop nasolabial folds around the nose and mouth. BellaFill® contains microspheres of polymethyl methacrylate in a gel. These microspheres not only give the skin an immediate lift but also trigger collagen production. Over time, the microspheres are absorbed by the body, leaving behind new collagen.

What Should I Expect from BellaFill®?
Dr. Taghizadeh performs all BellaFill® treatments for his patients who want long-lasting results to soften smile lines and other types of wrinkles, or who want their acne scars to be less noticeable. BellaFill® is injected into the skin at a specific depth to maximize the outcome of the treatment. You may feel a slight prick on your skin as the needle is inserted. Otherwise, the treatment is quite comfortable.
You can return to your normal activities after the injections – no downtime is required. Some patients experience temporary swelling, redness, pain, bruising, lumps, bumps, itching or discoloration of the skin near the injection sites. Keep in mind that these symptoms are usually temporary and last one to seven days.
