Xeomin in Phoenix, AZ
What if you could look younger without surgery or other types of extensive cosmetic procedures? Now you can with Xeomin® treatments at Arizona Facial Plastics, PC. Our board-certified ENT and facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Farhan Taghizadeh, specializes in Xeomin® treatments for men and women who live in and around Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley and the surrounding communities of Arizona.
What is Xeomin®?
Xeomin® is an injectable anti-aging treatment that is in the family of products that treats dynamic wrinkles by relaxing facial muscles. Like Botox® and Dysport®, Xeomin® contains a special neurotoxin that temporarily paralyzes the muscles that cause the wrinkles between your eyes and on your forehead. The injections can even soften those embarrassing crow’s feet on the outer edges of your eyes.
Benefits of Xeomin®
Dr. Taghizadeh recommends Xeomin® to his patients who want:
- An anti-aging solution that does not require surgery or downtime
- An injectable product that offers a viable option for long-term use
- Short, easy treatments
- Long-lasting results
What Can I Expect from Xeomin®?
Your facial wrinkles around the eyes and forehead are softened by injecting Xeomin® along the muscles. In order to fully treat the wrinkles, Dr. Taghizadeh will make several injections along the muscles. You may feel a slight pinch as the small needle is inserted into the skin and muscle. Dr. Taghizadeh can apply a numbing agent if you are uncomfortable during the treatment. You will see some improvement after the treatment, and full results take up to seven days.
How Xeomin® Differ from Other Types of Injectable Fillers?
In clinical trials, some men and women experienced better results with Xeomin® when compared to Botox®. This does not necessarily mean that Xeomin® is necessarily better, but that some people simply respond better to one product over the other. The factors that affect the choice of Xeomin® versus Botox® are well-known by Dr. Taghizadeh, and he will use his expertise to recommend the right product for your anatomy and anti-aging needs.
Recovery from Xeomin®
The most common symptom after Xeomin® injections is localized tenderness around the sites where the needle was inserted into the skin. The tenderness typically lasts only 24 to 48 hours. Ice packs can help with the discomfort.
Where Can Xeomin® Be Applied?
Dr. Taghizadeh recommends Xeomin® for treating lines and wrinkles that develop:
- At the outer edges of the eyes (crow’s feet)
- Between the eyebrows
- On the forehead
Will Everyone Benefit from Xeomin®?
In clinical studies, rare cases were noted in which men and women had an allergic reaction to the active ingredients in Xeomin®. Dr. Taghizadeh will review your medical history to ensure that you are a good candidate for Xeomin®. If he determines that Xeomin® is not the right anti-aging solution for you, he will recommend other injectable fillers to help you look younger.
How Much Does Xeomin® Cost in Phoenix?
Xeomin® is an elective cosmetic treatment, so the cost of the treatment is not covered by your medical insurance. Dr. Taghizadeh wants to give men and women affordable options for their cosmetic treatments, so we accept several forms of payment. You can pay by cash, check, and major credit card. Financing is available through Prosper® Healthcare Lending and CareCredit®.
