Thinning hair may be caused by other issues, such as hormonal changes, stress, hair products, medications, and some chronic illnesses. Hair Restoration from FUE Procedure

The follicular unit transplantation process involves taking donor hair follicles from the bottom of the scalp along the top of the neck. The area is prepared by trimming the hair to the proper length. Your provider may require you to avoid trimming or cutting your hair for a period of time prior to the procedure. A local anesthesia is injected into the scalp to numb the donor and transplant areas. Using three to five-times magnification, your provider uses the  FUE device to extract hair follicles of the desired diameter. The  system stores, hydrates, and counts the follicles. Next, the hair follicles are inserted into the transplant area of the scalp. The length of the FUE hair transplant depends upon the extent of thinning and balding that needs to be corrected.
