What Should I Expect to Happen at My Anal Lightening Appointment?

Anal lightening is a simple procedure that is generally performed in about 30 minutes in our office by Camille Gahr, our laser-certified aesthetician. After consulting with our laser-certified aesthetician, sometimes a test spot is performed to ensure that the treatment will work as expected. The patient will then apply numbing cream to the area being treated to ensure there is no discomfort. Finally, an intense pulsed light (IPL) laser is used to address and correct the external discolored areas.

When Will I See Results?

Results are typically noticeable after the first treatment; however, multiple treatments may be necessary in some instances. In addition to the IPL laser treatment, we offer an at-home lightening product that can accelerate results when used in conjunction with the laser treatments.

What is Recovery Period for Anal Lightening?

After the treatment, patients may experience a warming sensation in the treated area for a few hours. It is important to take special hygienic care of the area for the first couple days following treatment, but no further care is required.

How Much Does Anal Lightening Cost in Phoenix?

Costs will vary depending on the number of treatments desired by the patient. Medical insurance does not currently cover the cost of this procedure, so you will be responsible for the total cost of the treatment. We accept payment by cash, check, major credit card and financing through Prosper® Healthcare Lending and CareCredit®.
